And that’s a wrap for COP28 UAE.

It has been an historic and record-breaking fortnight for global climate action, with some incredible achievements:

- Largest ever attendance at a COP with over 80k Blue Zone delegates
- Largest-ever gathering of World Leaders in one place, with 154 Head of States and Governments, and 22 international leaders
- Quickest ever agreement reached with the launch of the Loss and Damage Fund on Day 1.
- First time the Blue Zone and Green Zone have been co-located, maximising opportunities for connection, collaboration and impact
- The coming together of a huge number of UAE government entities, private sector, agencies and delivery partners, uniting behind one shared goal for climate action
- The opportunity to showcase the UAE’s warm hospitality and create a unique COP experience that enriched cultural understanding

Trivandi is privileged to have played a part in a cause that is way bigger than all of us – successfully setting out a robust action plan to mitigate the effects of global climate change and limit temperature rises to 1.5C.
